You Want a Better Smile. You Don’t Want to Regret the Process.
Veneers can feel exciting until one question gets in the way:
Will healthy teeth have to be shaved down?
That hesitation is reasonable. Enamel is valuable, and once it is removed, it cannot be put back. At Livewell Dental, we begin with a more careful question: can we create the smile you want while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible?
Your smile should be improved with care, not rushed into irreversible treatment
We study your tooth shape, enamel, bite, and smile goals before recommending veneers.
Sometimes no prep is possible. Sometimes another option is better. Either way, you should know why.
The goal is not just a prettier smile. It is a smile you can feel good about choosing.

What Are No Prep Veneers?

No prep veneers are thin porcelain veneers placed with little to no removal of healthy enamel. For the right patient, they can improve the shape, color, size, and balance of the smile by adding carefully designed porcelain instead of aggressively reducing natural teeth.
Are You the Right Candidate for Veneers?
No prep veneers may add fuller shape and better balance.
Porcelain can sometimes bring the smile forward in a natural way.
Careful design can restore length, shape, and symmetry.
Strong enamel helps create a more predictable bond.

See What’s Possible Before Anything Is Permanent
If you have been thinking about veneers but hesitating because you do not want healthy teeth shaved down, start with a careful first look.
Send your photos. Share what you want to change. Dr. Chris will help you understand whether no prep veneers may be possible, or whether another conservative path makes more sense.

You may be a good candidate if your teeth are slightly small, narrow, worn, or set back, and there is room to add porcelain naturally. If your teeth are crowded, prominent, very dark, or heavily restored, another option may be more appropriate.
They can look bulky if they are forced into the wrong case. That is why planning matters. Dr. Chris evaluates your tooth position, smile shape, enamel, and bite before deciding whether no prep veneers make sense.
Yes, in many cases veneers can improve tooth size, shape, and smile width. No prep veneers are often most successful when the smile can be enhanced by adding carefully designed porcelain. For broader cosmetic planning, you may also want to review our smile makeover page.
That does not mean you are out of options. Depending on your smile, Dr. Chris may recommend teeth whitening, dental bonding, gum recontouring, alignment, minimal-prep veneers, or a more complete cosmetic plan.
With good planning, strong bonding, proper bite management, and regular dental care, porcelain veneers can last many years. Longevity depends on your enamel, bite, habits, and how well the veneers are maintained.
Send a full smile photo, a relaxed resting photo, a side or angle photo, and a close-up smile photo. You can also include an inspiration photo if there is a smile style you like. No filters or special lighting are needed.
Grinding does not disqualify you from veneers, but it does need to be addressed before and after treatment. Uncontrolled grinding puts veneers at risk of chipping or failing early. At Livewell, every case begins with a bite evaluation. If grinding is a factor, Dr. Kim will discuss how to protect your result long-term before a single veneer is placed.
